Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti

 It is always a matter of pride for us Indians to showcase the richness of our 

history and culture. Our history tells the stories of many heroes and their 

contribution to our country. One such hero is Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar.

Today, It gives me great pleasure to present before you a speech on Dr 

Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti.

Ambedkar Jayanti is Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birthday. He was born on 14th April 

1891.

Every year, this day is celebrated as Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti. We all 

know him as the father of the Indian constitution. But his contribution is not 

limited to just this. 

He was a very talented person. He was a politician, a social reformer, a jurist and 

an economist. 

He always fought against the injustices prevalent in Indian society. 

He was bestowed with Bharat Ratna in 1990 for this exemplary work in Indian 

Reforms.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar remains a symbol of equality and foreperson of human rights. 

His works and ideas continue to influence the mass of people. 

His forward-thinking and ideals are still applicable today. Many look up to him 

as a role model, as do I.

 I like his quotes, “ Be Educated, Be Organised and Be Agitated”

“Life should be great rather than long”.

 He was great man, I salute him on this day.
